SMS Terms and Conditions

These terms govern the text (SMS) messaging program operated by Text for FLEX in Columbus, Ohio.
Program description
Text for FLEX sends SMS and MMS messages to help fill last-minute shifts. Depending on whether you are a restaurant or a bartender in our network, messages may include staffing requests, available shift offers and dispatch, shift confirmations and ETAs, and account notifications.
How you opt in
You provide consent to receive text messages from Text for FLEX by:
- Submitting a form on our website and checking the box agreeing to receive text messages, or
- Texting our number, 380-666-8500, to start or respond to a conversation.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services, except that receiving shift-related messages is necessary to participate in the FLEX dispatch network.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on staffing activity and your role in the network.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, according to the terms of your mobile plan. Text for FLEX does not charge you for the text messages themselves.
Opt out (STOP)
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to 380-666-8500. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending messages, unless you opt back in. If you opt out during a conversation, you may need to opt in again to receive future messages.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed.
Privacy
Your information is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your information, and we do not share mobile opt-in information or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Changes
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will update the effective date above.
